Let’s face it – going to the dentist isn’t anyone’s favourite thing to do. But at Clarence Street Dental, we like to think it’s different for our patients. Our team is full of passionate, innovative, and caring people who work hard behind the scenes to deliver exceptional experiences every time you visit – you might even call the experiences you have here magical. We believe that patient care goes beyond treatment in the chair. That means making your entire experience – from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave – a positive one. When you first walk into our office, you’ll see the beautiful stone walls that set the tone for our entire office. You won’t feel like you’re at the dentist when you’re at Clarence Street Dental. We’ve created a space for our patients that is relaxing, comforting, and peaceful.
When checking in, you’ll always see a friendly face and receive a welcoming greeting. Our concierge is there to assist you should you need anything, while offering complimentary cucumber water or coffee.
After you’ve checked in and taken a seat in our patient lounge, you’ll notice our elegant fireplace that heats up our patients in the cooler seasons and our tv that plays Netflix and Disney+ year-round. The soft colour palate of the lounge allows for any dental nerves to just melt away.
Our team of general dentists are here to service all your dental needs. From fillings to root canals to extractions and more! Even when a referral to a specialist is needed, they’re there with you every step of the way.
Did you know that we offer many specialties under our own roof? While you’re waiting for your appointment (which won’t be long), check out our highlight wall featuring our team of dentists and specialists. Our specialist team is comprised of two oral surgeons, an orthodontist, a periodontist (gum specialist), an endodontist (root specialist), and a denturist – all right here at Clarence Street Dental!
Our patient lounge includes a special little corner for our littlest visitors. Welcome to the CSDG Space Station, where are pediatric patients can get creative before their appointments, drawing on our floor-to-ceiling chalkboard!
This space theme matches one of our pediatric treatment rooms, where they’re taken on a trip to space to get their teeth cleaned by an astronaut (aka our pediatric dental hygienist, Steph).
You can ask our team about this experience for your own children (12 years and under) and see how enthusiastic they become about coming back next time.
Before you’re seated in your treatment room, you might need to get your x-rays taken. On the way to our x-ray station you’ll notice photos of our team on the walls around our office. We believe that showcasing who we are as a team allows our patients to get to know us on a personal level. We spend a lot of time getting to know our patients on a personal level as well, and always love finding new ways to connect with them.
Now that you’ve reached our x-ray station, you’ll see a few different types of machines. Whether you need cavity-detecting x-rays, a panoramic x-ray that goes around your entire head, or even a CBCT scan, you’re able to get them done right here. How convenient is that?
Once in the treatment room, your dental hygienist (for your cleaning) or dental assistant (for your dental work) will start the appointment by communicating with you everything you need to know before proceeding. We believe that a good relationship starts with good communication between patient and provider.
Our treatment rooms are clean, bright, and spacious, allowing for the perfect conditions for your appointment.
After every visit, you’ll get a text message from our team with a review request and we’d be honoured if you took a few moments to share your experience with us. We use this feedback to reflect on what’s working and what’s not, and factor it into how we deliver exceptional experiences for our patients.
Have you seen our space-themed pediatric treatment room yet? Steph absolutely loves working with kids and designed this room with them in mind. She takes her patients on a trip to outer space and makes dental cleanings – dare we say it – fun! Steph is passionate about giving kids the best experience she can and loves hearing them say they’re excited to come back and visit her. Interested in booking your child (12 and under) with her? Just request they be booked with Steph when booking their hygiene appointments.
At the end of your visit you’ll be accompanied by one of our business assistants from your treatment room to the front desk. They’ll assist you with the checkout process and ensure everything is taken care of before you leave.
You’ll notice our fishy friends, Brush and Floss, will swim up to you wanting to be fed when they see patients are around. Read their bios to learn more about them, which they wrote themselves (just kidding!).
And last but not least, grab a bag of delicious, freshly-popped popcorn on your way out.
