Meet our Dentists

Dr. Lee Ferrao
DentistDr. Ferrao started his Bachelor of Science at the The University of Toronto and completed his degree at Laurentian University in 1989. Dr. Ferrao then completed the Dental Program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation in 1993, he worked in a General Practice Residency (GPR) at St. Luke’s Hospital also in Cleveland. Dr. Ferrao worked one year in Sudbury, Ontario prior to starting work in Brantford in 1995. Dr. Ferrao attends various seminars and courses and he has expanded his general dentistry practice to provide services in cosmetics, surgery and implants. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is happy to provide services for the community as well as internationally on annual dental mission trips.
Dr. Ferrao resides in Brantford with his wife and two children. He is very active in his children’s school and enjoys music, sports, and motorcycles.

Dr. Ameet Sachania
DentistDr. Sachania was born in Etobicoke, Ontario and attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate degree in Advanced Biochemistry. He was accepted to the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry where he served on his class council, graduating in 2006. He started working at West Street Dental in 2010 and later became managing partner when the business moved to its current location at Clarence Street.
Dr. Sachania is very passionate about helping his patients with pain and focuses much of his learning on areas of dentistry that can be difficult to manage, including root canals and complex implant prosthetics. He currently holds an active certificate with Heart & Stoke to deliver Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and is part of the sedation and anesthesia team at Clarence Street Dental Group. He holds memberships with American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, CDOCS Mentor, Spear Education, and Ontario Dental Association.
Dr. Sachania lives in Oakville with his wife and three children. His passions include food, travel, sports, and the arts. As most of his family lives in London UK, Dr. Sachania hopes to retire in London close to his family.

Dr. Adam Tudo
DentistDr. Tudo obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario before graduating from the University of Toronto as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2004. Originally from Hamilton, Dr. Tudo moved to Brantford shortly after graduation and practiced dentistry in town until 2009. He is delighted to be back in Brantford, serving the community in which he now calls home. Having developed a strong interest in art and dentistry at a very early age, Dr. Tudo feels he is living his dream of being able to use his skills to help patients achieve their optimal oral health. Combining his love for what he does and his compassionate nature, Dr. Tudo is deeply committed to offering patients quality dental care while striving to put even the most anxious patients at ease.
Dr. Tudo’s favourite pastime is spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Lisa Gravett
DentistDr. Gravett was born and raised in Brantford, and currently resides in Brantford with her husband and her three children. Being a part of the community is very important to her, as she loves interacting and helping the people who work and live here. Over her many years as a doctor, she has forged strong relationships with her patients and their families, and appreciates that she is a part of their lives.
Dr. Gravett completed a three-year Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Guelph, where she concentrated her studies on biology, chemistry, and math. She was then accepted into the dentistry program at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in June of 2001. Dr. Gravett enjoys all aspects of dentistry and the variety of procedures she does every day. She says, “No two days are the same; each day brings new challenges”.
With three children and a husband, things are never dull at the Gravett house. When they’re not at an outdoor field or gymnasium, her family spends time playing board games or spending time outside together. Dr. Gravett loves volunteering at schools to help children learn to read or tackle that tough math problem. As she is with her patients, she is always ready and willing to help her community.

Dr. Deepika Khanna
DentistDr. Khanna completed her Hon. B. Sc. Degree from the University of Toronto. She attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Khanna is a member of the American Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, and the George Hare Endodontic (Root Canal) Study club.
Dr. Khanna believes that since dentistry is always evolving with new techniques and new materials, one must stay abreast of all the latest advancements and technologies. She is dedicated to post education and attends many courses and study clubs. Dr. Khanna has a very kind and caring personality and is able to put even the most anxious patients at ease. She has a gentle touch and a compassion that endears her to her patients. She takes pride in her work and in customizing treatments for her patient’s individual dental needs.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Khanna enjoys a wide range of activities, such as going on outdoor adventures like hiking and kayaking; she has even gone skydiving and has just recently walked the CN Tower Edgewalk! She also practices yoga, enjoys trying new foods, and traveling, and takes part in many community events. Dr. Khanna is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Dr. Kenny Wu
DentistDr. Wu was raised in Mississauga but currently resides in Ancaster. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Waterloo studying Biology and later graduated with Honours from The University of Toronto for Doctor of Dental Surgery. He served on the Class Council as the Dental Student Society Representative, is certified by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada, and is licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. After graduating in 2019 Dr. Wu worked at a dental office in Guelph before making the switch to Clarence Street Dental.
Dr. Wu loves dentistry because it is the perfect mixture of science and creativity, as it combines healthcare and artistry into one field. He says he loves working with his hands as it allows him to practise becoming a master of his craft. He enjoys helping his more hesitant patients overcome their fear of dentistry and being able to return his patients’ smiles back to normal.
In his free time, Dr. Wu enjoys cooking and trying new foods, and even completed a culinary course at George Brown College. He watches all the latest movies and enjoys photography, travelling, hiking and playing golf.

Dr. Alex Blake
DentistDr. Blake was born and raised in Tillsonburg, Ontario. After high school, she moved to London and attended Western University where she completed her Undergraduate Degree with a Bachelor of Medical Science specializing in Biochemistry, with Honours. She then completed her Masters of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology. She then attended the University of Toronto for dental school. While in dental school, she was very involved in the research aspect, working as a summer student researching oral cancer malignancy markers. She was part of the Summer Emergency Program as a third and fourth year student helping patients while school was out for the summer. After she graduated in 2019 she began her dental career working in Hamilton. She has recently joined Clarence Street Dental Group and continues to practise in Hamilton. While in school, Dr. Blake won the Eleanor and Gerald Copeland Grant in Dental Research for the work she did as a summer student. She placed 3rd in the Faculty of Dentistry Summer Research Day and received a stipend to attend the Hinman Student Research Symposium in Memphis, Tennessee. She says, “It was such a cool experience to be able to present and discuss dental student research around North America.”
Dr. Blake loves interacting with her patients and leaving them with a positive dental experience. She didn’t realize before she started her career of the degree of dental anxiety in patients. To have a patient tell her they had a painless visit is the biggest compliment for her. She prides herself in being able to connect and sympathize with her patients in order to deliver the best and most appropriate care. Dr. Blake has always wanted to be a dentist. She thoroughly enjoyed her own dental appointments with both her family dentist and her orthodontist, who gave her a great patient experience and sparked her pride in her own oral health from a young age. She has always wanted to share her enthusiasm but this time as a health care provider. She feels that this is the perfect career for her as it combines her love of science and the ability to work with her hands while interacting with people every day.
Dr. Blake lives with her husband in Hamilton, where they enjoy all things outdoors, including hiking the escarpment close to their house, boating in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
Meet our Specialists

Dr. Andy Wong
Oral SurgeonDr. Wong began his studies at the University of Toronto where he received his DDS in 1995. He then attended the University of Rochester for his General Practice Residency and for his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training. He is currently a clinical demonstrator at the University of Toronto-Faculty of Dentistry. He is on staff at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga along with his private practice in Mississauga. Dr. Wong performs a wide range of surgical procedures. This includes Dental Extractions including Wisdom Teeth, Outpatient anesthesia (Intravenous sedation), Dental bone grafting and soft tissue grafting procedures, Pre-prosthetic Surgery, Oral Pathology Assessment and Treatment, Tissue Biopsies, Mandibular Fractures, TMJ – Temporomandibular Joint & Orofacial pain.
In his spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys golfing and travelling.

Dr. Melissa Sander
OrthodontistDr. Sander received her dental degree from the University of Toronto, and was later accepted into the prestigious dental residency program at Sunnybrook and Women’s Hospital where she gained experience in the treatment of complex trauma and jaw surgery cases. Dr. Sander’s passion for orthodontics brought her back to the University of Toronto where she completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Orthodontics.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of the Ontario Association of Orthodontics, Ontario Dental Association, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honour Society. She has held teaching positions at the University of Toronto, Departments of Undergraduate Orthodontics and Preventive Dentistry, and has had numerous publications in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Sander is also a clinical instructor at the Southern Ontario Dental College and provides continuing education courses for dental assistants and hygienists in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Sander was previously a President of the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry, a volunteer organization dedicated to improving both public health and the practice of dentistry in the community. She also devotes many days each year to continuing education seminars, study clubs, and conferences in order to keep up to date on the latest technologies. Dr. Sander was previously honoured at the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards as a nominee in the Category of Health, and was awarded the Ontario Dental Association Award of Merit as well as the Leadership and Governance Award for service at the local component society, specialty or provincial level.
Dr. Sander is excited to join Clarence Street Dental and help our patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles using the latest orthodontic technology. She has over 15 years of experience treating patients of all ages and looks forward to engaging in multi-disciplinary treatment with our team of CDSG dentists and specialists. Dr. Sander promotes early interceptive orthodontic treatment to guide the teeth and jaws into more favourable positions during growth, avoiding more complex dental issues in the future.
In her free time, Dr. Sander enjoys travelling, staying active playing volleyball, tennis, and golf, and spending time with her family and friends. She is currently learning Italian before her upcoming trip to Italy!

Mr. Carm Cino
DenturistOur denturist, Carm, has a passion for restoring his patients’ smiles. He loves when he sees the new-found confidence every patient has after completing treatment. He studied Dental Technology and Denturism at George Brown College in Toronto and now focuses on prosthodontics (dentures and implants). He is BPS certified, “All-On-4” certified, and utilizes the lingualized occlusion concept. Carm continues to expand his knowledge and enhances his career through continuing education courses.
When he is not working, Carm enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He frequents amusement and water parks, and especially loves the thrill of rollercoasters!

Dr. Ron Ho
Oral SurgeonDr. Ho obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, he pursued his specialty training at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey and New York Medical College to become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. During his training, he also operated with a craniofacial plastic surgeon to treat children and adolescents with clefts and other craniofacial anomalies. He is a fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada and he is also a diplomate of American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently, he serves as a courtesy staff at the Trillium Health Partners (Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre). He is an active member of numerous regional, provincial and national associations. His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth extractions, impacted canines), bone grafting, dental implants, orthognathic surgery and treating anxious patients requiring sedation.
Besides English, he speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, as well as rooting for the Raptors.

Dr. Jacob Swiderski
PeriodontistDr. Swiderski completed his undergraduate education at the University of Toronto where he received his Honors Bachelor of Science. He continued with his education at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2016 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) Degree. Upon graduating, he was awarded with membership to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, as well as graduate awards such as the Dr. Michael Oliver Memorial scholarship and the University of Toronto Oral Anatomy Award.
After graduating dental school, he pursued three years of residency training at the University of Toronto in the specialty of periodontology and implantology. There, he also successfully defended his Masters of Science thesis, whereupon he received his Degree (M.Sc.). He also successfully completed his specialty examination of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He is currently registered as a board-certified Periodontist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
In his spare time, Dr. Swiderski enjoys travelling and watching movies with his wife. Dr. Swiderski enjoys weightlifting, music, and is an avid Star Wars fan.

Dr. Ryan Margel
EndodontistDr. Margel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and became a specialist in 2013 after completing his Endodontic specialty residency at Marquette University. He received the School of Dental Medicine Dean’s Scholarship from the University of Pennsylvania and Advanced Dental Specialist Residency Scholarship from the Marquette University. Dr. Margel has always had a passion for Endodontics and its ability to help patients by relieving them of pain and discomfort while maintaining their natural teeth. Since completing his residency in 2013, he says this belief has been continually strengthened. He loves helping his patients save their teeth and alleviating infection and discomfort. He takes pride in making the entire experience as smooth and easy as possible for his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Margel and his wife keep busy by chasing around their three children. He is a huge sports fan and loves to travel.

Dr. Ali Namazie
AnesthesiologistDr. Namazie obtained his Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto and his Medical Degree at the University of Western Ontario, prior to specializing in anesthesiology at the University of Ottawa. He has been a resident of Brantford since 2010, and in addition to working at Clarence Street Dental, he currently works at the Brantford General Hospital where he provides anesthetic care to a wide variety of patients. His duties while at the Brantford General Hospital have included being chief of the Department of Anesthesia and developing a protocol for pediatric patients having tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies. He particularly enjoys regional anesthesia and the ability to remove pain through the use of targeted nerve blocks. Dr. Namazie’s passion for anesthesia lies in its ability to calm a patient during a stressful time in their lives, the opportunity to remove pain, and the skill to deal with medical emergencies if and when they arise.
