Office Policies
At Clarence Street Dental we understand the importance of communication between our team and our patients. Our office policies are communicated to all new patients so they know what to expect as a patient at our office.
Confirmations
As a courtesy, you will receive a series of reminders for your appointments. Upon scheduling, you will automatically be sent a “save the date”. A text message will be sent two weeks before your appointment, at which time we require confirmation from you. A final reminder will be sent via text message the day of your appointment. We may occasionally call you, too. Please note that it is ultimately your responsibility to maintain your appointment.
Cancellations
We know life happens, so don’t worry if you can’t make your appointment. In order to avoid limitations for future bookings, please let us know if you will not be able to attend your appointment at least 24 hours prior. Please call or text us at 519-756-8080 or send an email to info@clarencestreetdental.com should you need to cancel or reschedule.
Late Arrivals
Arriving late will take away from your reserved service. With other patients in mind, your appointment must end on time so the next patient’s appointment can begin on time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals and complete as much of your treatment as possible. We may require you to reschedule your appointment should you arrive too late.
We ask that current patients arrive at least five minutes before your appointment time and new patients at least 15 minutes before your appointment time.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service via debit, cash, Visa, MasterCard, cheque, or e-transfer. We will submit your insurance claim on your behalf and your insurance company will then reimburse you directly. Registering for direct deposit will have your money back faster, typically within 24-48 hours, while cheque payments are sent back within three to five business days.
Insurance
Because each insurance policy is unique, we do not have the ability to know and understand each one. Therefore, we ask that you are aware of your own coverage before booking any appointments. Any differences not covered by your insurance company would be your responsibility. We thank you for your understanding
Personal Items
We encourage you to keep valuables at home as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Facial Piercings
Please note that if x-rays need to be taken at your appointment, all facial piercings must be removed prior to your appointment start time. If you are unsure if any will be taken, please ask when booking your appointment.
Pets
Due to health and safety reasons, pets cannot be brought into our office and should be left at home.
