If you’ve read some of our past blog posts, you know that the staff at Clarence Street Dental like to have fun! On September 17, 2016, Jo-Anne Woodley, one of the business associates at the office organized a golf tournament for all the staff and their family. The event was held at Fescue’s Edge Golf Course in Scotland Ontario. All proceeds from the event went to the Alzheimer’s Society of Brant.

Jo-Anne had been planning this fun-filled event for months. The event featured a round of 9-hole golf, a silent auction, and a lovely evening dinner for friends and family of the office to be brought together. Unfortunately, the day of the event was a rainy one. However, with all the hard work Jo-Anne had put into the event, there was no way she was cancelling it. Some of the attendees wound up playing golf in the rain, and had a great time! The others who opted not to golf stayed indoors, enjoyed a beverage, and bid on some of the amazing auction prizes. Donors for the auction included VIA Rail, FM Audio Video, Home Depot, Best Western, Scape Spa, The Windmill, and many more. Among these donors were some great auction prizes, including a 50-inch Smart TV, Niagara wine tour, VIA Rail voucher and a master chef 16-piece BBQ set!

The event ended on a high note as everyone had a great time, regardless of the weather, and raised a whooping $3,780 for the Alzheimer’s Society of Brant. Rain or shine, Clarence Street Dental knows how to have fun!
